ITP InTerPipe

Fabrication services and local content

ITP’s manufacturing equipment is portable which allows flexibility for manufacturing; consequently, ITP pipe-in-pipe can be manufactured at a location that is logistically advantageous. The fabrication equipment can be set up within a couple of months which is well within the pipe delivery time frame and therefore is not on the critical path.

This flexibility in equipment mobilization/demobilization allows ITP to easily satisfy local content requirements.

On a project basis, in order to optimize the logistics or satisfy local content requirements, ITP can also provide onshore fabrication assistance services as it has been done on the ROSA project. These services include but are not limited to:

  • Provision of ITP specific tooling
  • ITP equipment installation and maintenance
  • Operators training and supervising (insulation, insertion and swaging stations, pressure reduction)
  • QA/QC
