ITP InTerPipe

Products

Following its creation in 1992 and up to now, ITP InTerPipe has always devoted time, knowledge and expertise to the following issues:

  • Energy preservation
  • Management of complex industrial issues
  • Reducing costs of traditional solutions by providing fully qualified and easy-to-implement products

Since 1992, ITP has specialized in the provision of highly insulated pipelines for:
  • The Oil and Gas Market: subsea and onshore production flowlines
  • The Cryogenic Market: LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas), Liquid Propane and Butane (LPG) and liquid chemicals (Ethylene, etc...)

ITP business activities are divided in 3 main units:

           Key figures:

  • Overall, ITP has 250km+ (155 miles+) of installed subsea pipe-in-pipe flowlines.
  • In 2004, ITP designed, engineered and fabricated the first subsea pipe design for the Pluspetrol Camisea project (9km/5mi of cryogenic LPG lines), which became operational in 2004. To date, Camisea is the best field-proven thermal performance (0.35 W/m²-K or 0.062 BTU/ft²hr-ºF) for subsea flowlines.

  • Since 2000, ITP has held the world record for the most highly insulated pipeline in operation (Tchibeli pipeline, 25km (16mi) offshore Congo, 0.55 W/m²-K or 0.097 BTU/ft²hr-ºF)
